Kate Fosk lives in England and is an independent filmmaker and script writer. Kate’s first involvement with machimating was as a Sims photo-story writer. She moved on to making movies under the umbrella of her company”Kkffoo”. Later, Kate met her new partner, Michael R. Joyce while Bata testing at Moviestorm.
Michael R. Joyce began his career as a production assistant in the entertainment industry in 1974. Michael learned several facets of filmmaking while working his way up through the ranks. This effort eventually landed him the position of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Production for both United Artists and Twentieth Century Fox. Later Mike made a decision to leave Executive Management for a producing career. The first time in the producers chair Michael co-produced Nora Ephron’s “This Is My Life”. There were many more feature films that followed. Michael became interested in making animation once he left the live film industry due to disability.
After meeting, Mike and Kate decided to join efforts in the pioneering new world of Machinima, and founded Pineapple Pictures as a machinima/anymation movie company. Machinima films are animated movies that are created using the very same technology (software) that drives video games.
